Arturi Valdaska
Lower level, so able to take an IC "off-screen" role if able, to leave availability for others. Won't be able to attend the briefing, but would still like to participate, in spirit at least. Otherwise available for any event on the 28th.

I've updated the first post with the current sign up list, a copy of which you will find below.
I should have accounted for all the posts in this thread. Dalo Lorn, it doesn't seem like you are signing up so I have left you off.

Can this be taken as IC knowledge for the purposes of creating a strategy?

The attendees? No, alas. They will be called "on the day" and briefed then. By you!

Unless there is poor turnout next weekend, we are likely to be running an additional event to catch free floaters.
Its also looking like Alts aren't going to be an option! If you want your alt to have something to do off camera, post here.

Tanking is not unusually risky behaviour.Hoihe wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 9:34 am What is the definition of "unusually risky behaviour"?
I ask this as my character fulfils the tank role, meaning intentionally getting surrounded or otherwise trying to make sure she's the one getting attacked and not the squishy ones. Does such count as unusually risky behaviour?
I am asking as I'd really like to get a good gauge of how likely it is to wind up with a catch 22 of "Must take the risk to ensure 100% success but take permastrike with 75% probability" vs "Don't take the risk, have no chance of real success", and thus avoid issues from strong OOC disagreement with existence of permastrikes.
If you don't run away when I telegraph that its a good idea because forces are overwhelming, then that would be unsually risky behaviour.

Right, it doesn't sound like a catch 22 situation would be forced then.DM Golem wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 10:37 amTanking is not unusually risky behaviour.Hoihe wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 9:34 am What is the definition of "unusually risky behaviour"?

Lafali'Atria would be then able to be a Shield of Scar.

Re: Upcoming Winding Water Events 27th 28th July
Amending that the most likely one for Frin to turn up in is Event 4, or at best Event 1. Something is likely to prevent my attendance to 5-6, and they seem quite full anyways!
So Character: Frin
Player: Gamarasa
Event 4, unless it's full already.
