Hoihe would assist Cyrus, but would inform him that he can study for tendays in a row within a month at best without being an actual member. However, Hoihe, a vampire hunter of sorts amongst his various other Slayer skills, gives quality advice to Cyrus with help of books.


((Hoihe has experience of 12 years of adventuring, countless vampire, is a Seeker of Candlekeep and has a modified Lore score of 47 (though I'm not sure, give or take ~3 points. My Lore tends to be crazy at times).))

Cyrus speaks with Hoihe, requesting if the rule may be waived this one time so that this threat may be researched as much as possible in the quickest way possible. They must discover how to destroy one of these Vampire Lords at all cost, they must be better prepared for the next encounter......Cyrus is certain they have not seen the last of this creature.

Heading Hoihe's words, Cyrus goes to talk to Tethoril to see if he can get an extension or a waiver of the rules until all the information on vampires can be unearthed from the Library.

Several nobles of the Palace District are all a flutter about a the latest performance at the White Mask Theater. Some complain they got all-dressed up only to be ushered out the back door by now-fugitive Thedran Rock and "that pretty foreign girl" Valqis, assistant of Director Herran. Shortly afterward, singing was heard from the Threater. Seconds later the theater shuddered with a loud boom then smoke billowed out of the windows and shattered front door. Minutes later, about a dozen persons wearing heavy armor with weapons drawn are seen trotting through the city streets into the Docks District. Not long afterward, Herran and Valqis follow, though both are only wearing their finest "showtime" clothes; she was carrying a big axe. Two contingents of Flaming Fist soon follow marching double-time through the city streets. One squad goes to the Theater and the other squad goes into the Lord's Alliance building in the Docks District.

Perhaps an hour later, the now-tattered armed mob is escorted by the Fist into the Palace, then later to the Fist Compound. Meanwhile, back at the theater, the smoke stops and the Fist secure the area.

The next morning, Herran and Valqis are seen again outside the theater, both wearing the same though now tattered cloths. Custodian Karl is with them mounting a sign on the broken door frame indicating the theater is "Closed for repairs." Curious persons may or may not notice all of the auditorium windows are now open. Inside, the tapestries and benches are either charred or gone. Fortunately, the theater structure appears to be in-tact.

Herran can be seen along the docks and visiting all the different Inns/ taverns within Baldurs Gate. He does not approach any aside from the barkeeps, sea captains, head dock workers so as not to raise too many brows.

He leaves a simple message with each. "I would like to meet with any interesting parties that feel having a vampire lord living amongst us is -not- a good idea. I have information, warnings and contacts. Just leave word at the White Mask Theater, or come meet me there. I am Herran Hymn, director of the theater."

Lady Elvina, after finally having a meeting with Thedran where the two agreed to a combined meeting to share all the knowledge they currently know of this Vampire Lord and perhaps make a plan, sends out a private sealed letter to the leaders of the allied groups involved asking them when a good time is for all to get together to discuss this peacefully, without insults or finger pointing or blame.

Herran chuckles to himself as he reads the note "Hells, they could not be peaceful even when standing in front of the dukes or in the jails. So good luck with that one"

Hoihe sighs, walking around the courtyard of Candlekeep and finally being presented the letter he can't help but grumble after he reads it.

"Why in the nine hells must every blood accursed thing happen at the same damned time?! I swear... I can't never put myself down to sleep with hopes of waking up to a pleasant day... Bloody hells... Shadows and blood... vampires.. black gems.. I'm starting to have enough of it damn it.. Bah.. Dacino's duty never end.. How true.. and ironic..."

After finishing grumbling in the courtyard he retires to the Seeker's Quarters and pens a reply. Afterwards he sends it back. It reads:

"I will try to be present, however, I should avoid leaving Candlekeep for longer bouts.. my assistance might be required.
