Re: World Cup 2028
Such a good finish for Belgium .. they can breathe a bit now.
Otherwise I hope the last part of the second part of the bracket will be better than the two matches finished on penalties -.-

Japan was close. Too bad, they certainly gave it all. Now as usual only South America and Europe remains.

Re: World Cup 2028
So many defensive errors though, if Belgium is going to play that way against brazil, where your midfielders just saunter around and ignore the opposition attackers, no backup for your fullbacks or centre backs. Well.. happy times for Coutinho and Neymar. Typical Martinez teams though.
Im still gutted we went out on penalties though
oh well, at least we achieved our goal with advancement from the group, now I can shamelessly cheer for France right? Allez Les Bleus!!!!

His perform must be awful, no one is ever convinced
must be bluffing and since he is actually never really hit, tumbling makes sense too ^^ Definitely feign on this bloke.

Re: World Cup 2028
England has broken the penalty curse! 5x (3x at world championships) they lost in a row.
Somebody must have casted a remove curse on them
. But what an ugly match. The referee didn't control it at all.

Re: World Cup 2028
Sad where ?
Perhaps on the lack of reaction on Urguayan's behalf but from my pov they were handled for the whole match and Griezmann got lucky on the second goal.

Re: World Cup 2028
Sad that Uruguay was shut down and seemed incapable of anything but fowling. And France turned up the theater, and the Griez goal was a lucky error that seemed to depress the entire game to a 20 minute sit out.
Or maybe I'm now so used to Penalty shoot outs and nail-biting endings that my dose is high.
But we have Brazil v. Belgium, which should be high octane (itbetterwelldamnbedammit!).
