Enjoy the trip, all work and no play makes Maecius a dull boy after all!

Made it back!
New Hampshire, you have a beautiful state. There are an absurd amount of trees, though. Too many trees if you ask me! I was starting to feel claustrophobic there after a couple of days. I started to miss my wide open plains.
When I was driving, I did double-take at the "moose crossing" signs. Though the only moose I saw was at a pub, and he was very dead. And it was just his head up on the wall.
Boston, I'm afraid all I took away from our visit was that you have the worst traffic and very aggressive drivers. Next time I'll try to enjoy the history of the city more, so that my only association with you is not that you almost made me late to the airport.
I'm pretty exhausted (not least because I was put up in a dorm room, with a shared bathroom -- an experience I haven't known since grad school, and which didn't get better with age), but it was overall pretty fun for a work thing. I'll look forward to my next trip out east.

I'm going to visit my sister in Sweden. I'll bring my laptop, but I'm not sure I'm going to be online much, if at all. I'll log in to IRC every now and then though.

Persons who where around a year ago may remember me. I shared this a few days ago with Admin Staff:
Please do not PM me with Head Developer questions. I am not that any more.
* A model I started then stalled on months ago...

Compliments to current (active!) Build Team and Admin-Staff for keeping BGTSCC alive and well since I dropped off the map back in January.Duster47 wrote:I think it is time I officially be withdrawn as "Head Developer". I am unable to devote any quality time to BG. Truthfully, I am not really missing it either. I've completed several books these past months (mostly while flying/waiting-in-airports/quite nights in hotels). Unfortunately, that airplane pictured before is barely much farther along.* I intend to devote my meager free time to that for the next few months.

Thank you for all the amazing work you've done for the server, Duster. I've said it before, but I will say it again: You've been a hero.
I hope you'll return one day! At least to RP if not to do dev work.

Best of luck Duster...Feel free to drop in every now and then and link us cool pictures of space and whatever else you're working on!!! I echo Deathgrowl in stating that you are a hero and everyone who plays here owes you our gratitude. Until next time, may life hold in store all that you could want and more!

I hope you'll still do an area or touch one up every now and then when you feel like it Duster, many many thanks for the rather immense amount of work you did.

Thank you Duster.
I hope people in this community realize that, in a time when the Server was unstable, Duster put in much work to turn around the downward spiral, and, not only keep the Server chugging along, but added fresh details to make the Environment seem alive.
So, it is sad to hear that BGTSCC has lost its charm, at the moment, but...one can never really leave....

Thank you for everything duster. Not only for the areas, the mobs etc that you developed throughout the years, but especially for 15 months ago when BG needed you the most, you spent countless areas to get the updates going.

Cool winds, Duster. May the winds always be on your back, blowing you to where you need to be! And maybe one day we will wander together again.
///it goes without saying to say thanks for all the hard work.
But also, from me, thanks for all the fun, your RP was one of the reasons I ever stayed around this place

Here Here! I echo the sentiments of the others. Duster you saved the server when we were headed for certain doom... worked yourself to burnout and back again several times over. You deserve the time off.
Can't Thank you enough for all you have done and giving your free time for all of our enjoyment.

We need a BGTSCC Legends category for the BGTSCC Credits thread, to which Duster's name should be appended alongside Luna, Rasael, Eldur, HMV (AoS), Tfunke, Valefort, PaulImposteur among others!
Maecius' forum title should simply be changed to God and Endelyon's to Goddess.
Thank you for everything all these years, Duster, as well as your IG contributions via Valqis' RP. You are a BGTSCC Legend.

Leaving for a week vacation at the shore with my family tomorrow and won't likely be in game or on the forums much for the next week or so. Not that I have been in game much the last month anyway...stupid work! Vacation could not have come at a better time!!! Be well BG, see you all soon.
