Some at least 12 hours after the fight at Ulgoth's Beard to free it from the demon army's hold, Derik appears in the Warrior's Rest.
He looks utterly terrible.
He is covered in dried blood of various colors, and not demonic ichors from the battle he had been at.
The Headmaster does not answer any hails from staff or visitors other than a small wave and disappears into the rooms reserved for staff bunking.

Re: The Bladestone Foundation
With spring having arrived, the last of the refugees from Amn that have been staying at the Bladestone Foundation are finally able to find a place to go in either the local villages, Beregost, or Baldur's Gate.
The small tent-town near the Foundation building no longer needed, Derik orders the staff to start the slow process of dismantling it and putting into storage what needs to be stored and removing the rest.
Word is put out that if any of the local druids, Enclave or otherwise, wish to take the timbers that have been made into the makeshift defenses and return them to nature in their own ways and rituals, they are welcome to do so. Otherwise, the lumber will be sold or donated to local villages for housing or other needs.
((Thank you DM Team for the info that they have finally trickled away, as well as the opportunity for the RP of them and all during the events! ))

Re: The Bladestone Foundation
As the camp is being dismantled, and the last of the refugees are saying their goodbyes, Adrian makes his final notes on the entire ordeal, before sitting down to organize and detail it all in a brown leather-bound tome over the following days.
The tome details the name, profession, duration of stay, eventual destination, complaints and praises, and any contributions they made during their stay. At the very end he makes sure to include tables and lists of gross expenditures for the Bladestone Foundation, and its allies, to support the refugees. A future study in refugee management.
Once finalized. he adds the tome to the Bladestone Foundation library.
What follows is a time of melancholy and emptiness, trying to figure out what to do with the spare time he suddenly finds himself with. Even so reality of daily work at the school establish itself, and he once again finds himself busy managing the day-to-day. Still, the feeling of the Bladestone Foundation grounds being less, linger for a while.
