Seamus and the Clan Muldoon story

*A little red haired halfling sized lad all clad in green enters the Elfsong Tavern and orders a Blackwater Stout and climbs up on a bar stool. He begins drinking for some 30 minutes drink after drink and someone finally asks* "Whats wrong halfling did they burn down Gullykin or something?"" I'm no halfling!" Seamus replies. "You people just don't git it I'm not a halfling and my trradgic storry is far worrse then this gullken or whaterr it was you said burrnin down." "OH you have a story to tell?" another asks. "Aye, I've got a storry that'll make yourr goat fly away like an ol paperr kite." "Well tell us." says another interested man pulling up a chair. *Seamus looks around the room finishes his drink and calls for another* Arrite then listen up for I don't be wishin ta say this twice. *He takes a short drink wobbles on his chair a bit and begins*

"Deep within the Forest O the Wyrm hidden in the mist lies the valley O Tir na Nog. A place so secrret even the drragons of the forrest have not found it. There within the valley me leprechaun clan, the clan Muldoon, lives in the ancient rruins O Knocknasheega. For many hundrreds o yearrs we lived in grrand fashion, with much drrink, music, and dancin among the trreasures we amassed from scourrin the forrest and findin trrinkets and coin drragons had let slip from their cluthces while buildin their own trreasure horrdes. Until" .... * he pauses and takes a drink as a sadness comes upon him*
"It was a doomy sorrta night, the night the pixies came to us sayin that something evil had brroken through Meilikki's Magic Doorway into Tir na Nog and that they had found a few dead Unicorrns with their horrns missing. Immediately King Brennan called for the High Prrotectors o Tir na Nog.......me brotherrs an I. He bid us investigate and guarrd overr the Unicorrns for a few days and returrn with a rreport. Dannin, Rory, Mcdermot and I found nothin but two dead Unicorrns with blackened heads where the horrns used ta be. We returrned to Knocknasheega and we were shocked ta find the place overrun with sheep. Saints preserrve us." *He finishes another drink and calls for another*
"It was the pixies that told us what we needed to know. There was a grrand battle o magics between King Brennan and a witch called Maeg the Hag. She had stolen a sceptre frrom our treasurre pile below the rruins and when she came out she changed all me brrothers and sisters ta sheep." He declared sadly as more people gathered to listen. "The spell did not last long on King Brennan and his magic crown. He quickly mounted up on his spotted pony steed Trafallger and charrged out the Magic Doorway afterr Maeg, with the pixies close behind. Overr the fields he flew at a furious pace, until at last he was upon the evil hag. There was but one thought in his mind I'm sure." *he takes a drink and wobbles on the stool* "Kill Maeg and it would rrelease the clan from the wicked spell she had cast on them. But suddenly she released the Wail O the Banshee on him. Trafallgar lept with fright and bolted uncontrrolably over the edge o the Blackstair cliffs." Seamus exclaimed glossy eyed at this point.
Gone was our King, his steed, and his magic crown that binds the magic of our folk. Gone into the rriver below. Washed away in the mighty waterrs neverr ta be seen again. Saints preserrve us." He washes the back of his pallet with his drink again*
"Without the crrown, me brotherrs an I have gotton tallerr and we lost our magical naturre too turrn invisible, and well we aint takin too well ta sheep herrdin itherr! But we dont want are lasses an boyos ta go wanderrin out the magic door and get eatin by a dragon or somethin unnnaturral I care not ta mention. OH tis a trradgic end too us all unless I can find that crrown or the witch." *He slams his hand on the counter, takes another drink and pauses for a moment then begins too sing*

UP the airy mountains and down the rushing glens
we don't go a huntin for fear o little men
wee folk, true folk, troopin off together
green jacket, red cap, and white owls feather.
Through the craggy hillside through the marshes bare
they've planted thorn trees for pleasure here and there
if any man so daring as to dig them up in spite

"Wooooo hoooo" He ends sharply. *Takes one last long drink of his Blackwater Stout turns too throw his mug and realizes they don't do that here and sets the mug down sharply on the counter top, then wobbles and falls off his stool and lays in a lump on the floor*
