Drugs...(and their usage)
I know narcotics exist in FR lore, the question is (this being a pg...13? server I believe) can I rp as using them....a lot? If so, would the BG division of the iron throne have them (as they are notorious for there dealings with narcotics). Thanks...and sorry for the odd question.

The DMs have discussed it, and you're probably O.K. to RP drug use and the effects of drug use, so long as you keep the level of descriptivism of both the use and the effects of the drugs at the level you would expect to see in a PG-13 movie.
In addition to the above, you should also remember to use Lore-appropriate drugs, not "real-life drugs," to maintain setting consistency.
As far as the source of your drugs is concerned, Baldur's Gate is a large trading city with a huge transient population, a dark and seedy underbelly, and a vast array of evil organizations either inside the city or near enough. You could acquire such contraband from a variety of people -- so long as you know where to look.
