Mir, a planar traveler... hailing from the City of Doors, Sigil, and beyond.

/// for sideline story and actual details: http://z13.invisionfree.com/nwn2planesc ... topic=1870

Portrait
Image

Basic Information
Name: Mir Fnar (which is the short form of her full name, “Mir Fnar ioh Noumea'do Arolui'kalai yo Mir'habati lo Atar'ro Oruro'oa ioh Sefil'hokta Dene'maj Chao'rotto Lui'ki mor Ninj'kari ioh Sunn'eriki Hjyng'kari Krtsm'owa Hjirn'aro Bahurist io Jirnoh zoi Cerim'ts”)
Aliases: Mir, 'Orns, Murkblood Weaver (for Giths)
Gender: Female
Race: Sava'ii (*; superficially similarish to a tiefling.
Age: 18-20 (by appearance); aeons in reality.
Profession: Jill of All (and No) Trades - a dilettante vagabond.
Languages: Many. Infernal and Abyssal are her “native tongues”; her Common is more or less clearly “foreign” one to her (for a casual observer, although a linguistic might notice her accent/dialect being very, very old).
Accent: Difficult to pinpoint to any specific place.
Voice: "Diva Dance, 5th Element"

Physical Information
Height: 5'6”
Weight: light.
Body build: Slim and curvy.
Skin type: Silken.
Hair style: See the picture, above.
Horns: A cute down-bent pair pointing forwards.
Coloring:
  • Hair: Bright orange-red (“tangerine”/hot coal) with a fiery tinge.
Eyes: Bright lemon yellow, eerily haunting, akin to those of a wolf.
    Eyebrows: Deep purple.
    Skin: White, but not pale.
Mental Information
Alignment: Unaligned; she resides outside the alignment axis.
Philosophy: Smile, and be smiled upon.
Deity/Beliefs: She knows well that deities do exist, but she doesn't "believe" in any of them. As long as they don't mix in with her life, she couldn't care less about their existence or disappearance. *) one major exception, in a way, exists, however.
Personality: (examples)
  • Open - Fast friends with about anyone who stops for a chat.
Xaoist/patternless - At times acts purely on impulse, at times sinks deep into ponderous thoughts. She may or may not react in any foreseeable way in any given situation.
Flippant/carefree - Lacks seriousness (but see above). At times “scatterbrained”.
    Flirt ...
(Over)confident - Chat up Graz'zt or have tea with a god? Happens.
Fearless/detached - She fears absolutely nothing, be it a god or an undescribable horror that would make a denizen of the Far Realm panic. She knows how the multiverse ends in the unfathomable future; she faces it with detached, almost apathetic calmness.
Additional Information
Gear: Varies, but always with a variety of jewelry and other ornaments.
Jewelry: A black choker, ornamented with a rogue stone, couple blue diamonds, star sapphires, and a variety of lesser gems. A golden necklace. Jewelry decorating the garments, and a few exquisitely ornate rings.
Habits/hobbies: Observer, wanderer, and tends to snoop into every place she's not familiar with. Collecting (unique) books. Collecting gemstones.
General Health: Perfect health. Heals from wounds without rest, much faster than humans.
Favorite Drink: Red wine and hot chocolate.
Weaknesses: Nothing directly obvious. Tends to avoid a few food types...

NOTES: (some known facts, some not, and some pure speculation...)
  • Mir isn't a de facto immortal per se, but she can't die by “natural causes” (aging, etc.). She's eternal, however - she may lose a mortal shell, but she'll sooner or later generate a new and similar one. Death of a "shell" puts her incorporeal form, which is her true form, into stasis for a while (spanning anything from a day to thousands or more years) unless the mortal form is resurrected or she forms or gains a new one.
  • Technically a full Outsider (except that she cannot be banished or dismissed); origin: Macrocosm (coterminous with Far Realm), a plane which is coexistent with all the planes (but predates them) and which functions as a bridge to other kinds of realities. Sava'ii as species predates the multiverse alongside Draedens (and possibly Vedmoti, although it's debatable if Vedmoti are quite that old species).
  • Regenerates at clearly visible rate (Fast Healing 4-6). (Item based, but IC'ly a feature of her being).
  • Shapeshifts at will into a demon/devil/shadow/elemental. (Item based, but IC'ly a feature of her being).
  • At home (Karasuthra) a library consisting of hundred(s) of different tomes.
  • Owns a shop at Kara-Tur, Toril, with Mashanie.
  • Owns two spelljammers, “Looming Shade” and “Alice” with Mashanie.
  • High Priestess of Mystra.
  • The "puppetmaster" behind many, many things, of which to none she can be traced back to, however.
  • ...list expanded as needed...

Seems that Sigil's not the only place in the multiverse for oddities to happen in more or regular basis - last nite I witnessed something rather amusing... altho I don't think the dwarf who was polymorphed into a two-armed worm was too pleased, except for getting his own stocky form back.

And now, met some nice people... The trek to Beregost seemed at first rather risky venture, but to my luck, I encountered a rather friendly ranger (I suppose he's a ranger), Catam, who offered to escort me there safely. He indeed was as good as his word, for I got to Beregost and beyond, and back, without a scratch...

Whether someone paid attention to the comings and goings of the young, composed woman or not, she didn't anyhow care as long as none of the observers hindered her business, whatever it at times was. But if followed, the trail soon became cold and she was nowhere to be seen - at times not seen again for days or weeks even, until someone spotted her down toned but stylish looks somewhere once more.

But what was certain, to anyone curious enough, was that she had and did a vast number of dealings with the wealthier side of the mercantile population of the city. No one, ever, gave out what kind, however.
