Monk lore...allowable?

Unread post by Moralityisflawed »

Hello;

In Ezekiel's storyline, he trained extensively with a hin monk from the newly established "Lucky Tricks" order. While not belonging to a monastary himself (He prefers isolated training, but makes it a point to spar with/study various monk orders), the base of his fighting style can be said to be derived from this order. Because of his training with the hin monk (The hin monk could be construed as Ezekiel's mentor), he has adhered to the rules/discipline of this order over all others.

I understand there is a powerbuilding rule in place to prevent people from taking 1 level of shadowdancer to get hips/etc, but the implemented rule would actually contradict Ezekiel's lore in this regard (The powerbuilding rule also being in place to have characters that are built more rp friendly). With such being said, even though the order is located within the lore of the lands subforum, is this a forbidden order in the module? Thank you for the clarification. (So far I've made sure to adhere to the luck domain restriction and the level restriction)

Brandobaris – Lucky Tricks (LN)
- This is a very new halfling order of monks. They usually keep to themselves in big cities or sometimes join a lucky group of adventurers.
- May take only 1 Cleric level and must choose Luck domain.

Ezekiel-All that you see will soon perish; those who witness this perishing will soon perish themselves. Die in extreme old age or die before your time – it will all be the same.

17 views that weren't me and no response, guess it must not be too big of a deal or someone would have said something. Sweet
