Rith Lelivia was born in Sshamath, and showed early favor with Lolth. She does not speak of whichever house she is associated with, or born into. However, since she was a tiny child, she has always been seen around the Temple of Lolth in Sshamath. She has sought become a High Priestess since she was very young, and has always enjoyed watching slaves receive punishment. She has even been known to excite the owners to punish them to the point of death, just for her enjoyment. She is considered cold and heartless, even among Drow.
Rith relishes in the suffering of the inferior races, and, whenever a hunt is called, with Lolth's permission, she is often one of the first to go. She sees slaves not as a symbol of power but a responsibility. So much work goes into keeping them docile, and around. Even when one escapes or is killed, she may enjoy the suffering, but she knows that the loss of one slave can slow efficiency too much for her liking.Until she figures out a way to balance out her enjoyment of punishment with keeping them from running or rebelling, she will likely not take any punching bags for her self.
She has disdain worse than most drow females for males, simply because she has seen owners of jaluk slaves get stricken by Lolth in front of her for whatever foolishness they committed with the slave. From what she has seen, only a select few males are worth even acknowledging, but the rest are more worthless than kivvil slaves. In her time, even when dwelling in her house, she never really bothered with pleasure slaves because she once saw one use his ability to please a matron to undermine her and take control over her. Unforgivable that the said matron would let him do such a thing. When that happened, she was given the chance by another matron in the house to punish both the offending matron, and the pleasure slave. The matron barely survived, but the jaluk did not. Her punishment was so brutal, the one who gave her permission had to turn away.
"Slaves are a waste of time. They always conspire to overthrow their masters or attempt escape. Don't get me wrong, now, I love a good Hunt. I just don't want the inconveniences the slaves provide to get in my way." ~Rith Lelivia

"I have heard good and bad about the surface. But tell me this: Can it really be any worse than a society ruled by Matriarchal Spider-Worshipers and slavery?" ~Darius Fellbane
