A dead body has been found on Candlekeeps high road.

Word goes that a man has been murdered on the road to CandleKeep.
The body had multiple stab wounds as the head was decapitated and taken, there are a few traces of injuries inflicted by magic as it is speculated that it's origin might be Eldritch.
The body was stripped clean of any value.

The man was found by a traveller a bit off the road and brought to the temple of Oghma in CandleKeep.
After questioning it didn't looked like the individual had any memory of the event nor his name.
Though after investigation it seemed it was an elven druid of Silvanus.

Some recognized the man as one of the druids that aided a group of adventures against the shadowmaster.
Word goes that this might have been a retaliation others claim it where mer bandits looking for coin.

After hearing of the murder, Teo comes and examines the body. His brow furrows, "Yes, this is eldridge magic." He stands up with his hand to his chin and thinks. "Wendell must be informed immediately." He whisks out of the room and into the spire.

There he takes out his ever familiar "special" stylist. He pricks his finger with the device and waits as it takes its payment in blood. He writes:

"Wendell, a murder has occurred on the high road to the keep. The body was beheaded, stripped, and had a number of stab wounds. However,I also see evidence of eldridge magic. It appears, by the clothing, to be a druid that helped us the night of the capture and death of Mauglir. Revenge killing perhaps. Recommend we gather key staff to discuss these events as they may have an impact to the security of the keep"

When he completes, he lowers the stylist and thinks of it's intended recipient.

The parchment slowly disintegrates into a fine grey smoke, makes several vertical swirls above the table as if getting its bearing, then darts off into the night looking for its addressee.
