The Quick Fixes

This one isn't really a guide, but rather a collection of things that I invite people to add to, quick easy methods to fix common issues in game. Things that might help with this bug or that, which players can do to help lessen things like lag or fix various quirks. There are a lot of them, tiny buggy issues, or common interface problems that pop up. Maybe things people don't commonly know how to do. I will later be compiling all of these into a guide. I invite everyone to share the little tips they know, or have learned, that might be scattered all over the forums and what not. This is simply an attempt to compile them all into one place.

THE PARTY INVITE DIALOGUE BOX

This one gets asked a lot, and is easy to accidentally disable.

Re-enabling it is simpler than people think.

• *Simply open up your NWN 2 My Documents folder, and look for the file: nwn2player.ini
  
  *Open it with Notepad
  
  *Look under the heading [Game Options] For the following line:
  DisablePartyInvitePopup=1
  
  *Simply change the one into a zero, so it reads as follows:
  DisablePartyInvitePopup=0
  
  *Save the changes to the file and, tada! Now when someone sends you a party invite, you will see the little box pop up.
