//Edited at bottom.
Leira Whitemane, songstress and scholar has been making her way from inn to inn after a rowdy night with the lads who reside in Roaringshore. She brings with her lessons of a drinking game of legendary strength.
"Do ye have what it takes to best the Kraken? Ye and yer shipmates have been ambushed while at sea, the Kraken demands tribute or it will devour you all!".
You need two or more willing souls and many cups of drinks!. You need two drink types, one for the Krakens Maw in the middle of the set up and another to make up the Krakens Tentacles. She goes on to explain how the game is played.
in the middle of the set up is the Krakens maw, and five cups of the other beverage extending outward from it towards each player form its tentacles.. Each player takes turns flipping a gold peice into the Krakens maw and if you miss you have to drink the drink closest to you as the Kraken grabs you with its tentacle and drags you closer. If you sink a coin into the maw you are spared for now and the game continues to the next player. If a player drinks their five cups, they get one more toss to the maw and if they do not pay the kraken, it devours them and they must drink the strong beverage and they are out of the game. If someone is devoured refill the cup for the remaining players. The goal is to be the last standing player alive!.
But there is a catch...
Krakens are fickle, the winner not only has to be the last one in the game but they also must sink a coin into the maw lest the beast devour them as well!. As soon as the last player sinks a coin into the maw they win!. The game can ideally be played with many people, each player adds another tentacle to the game!. The game can be played for bets or for fun!. If its for bets each toss is with a new coin, and the winner if any gets the entire pile, and if there is no winner the gold can either be split back among the players or paid to the house for the drinks and mess your sure to make!.
The size of the tentacles can also be increased as desired, try adding 7 drinks with the maw as the 8th or if your not afraid of alcohol poisoning try 20! Ninteen cups with the maw as the 20th!. (End IC expliation of the game).
//In game this is very simple to do, though a pain to set up with dropping all the drinks in a line thats why i suggest in game unless you have alot of room keep it to 5 drinks per player with the maw as the 6th drink.
//Logically you would think dexterity to flip the coin into the maw but for the purposes of this game we are going to assume when your drinking you loose alot of your coordination, and thus it becomes more luck then anything.
//So for this game each player rolls a D6 with the DMFI dice bag, a result of 1-5 indicates a miss and they must pick up and drink the closest beverage to them to represent the kraken dragging them in. A roll of 6 means the coin sinks in the maw and the player is safe....for now!.
//When you have your beverages use the DMFI ring to name one set of drinks "Krakens Tentacle" and the strong drinks "Krakens Maw".
//Tis could just be roleplayed out of course but actually setting up the drinks is a better representation of how the game looks and feels.
//In summary
*2+players
*Minium five cups lined up outward from the "maw" which is a much stronger beverage then the "tentacles" (the five cups lined outward).
*Players take turns rolling a d6, 1-5 the tentacle drags them closer and they must drink the cup nearest to them on their tentacle. A roll of a 6 means your safe...for now and do not have to drink.
*If someone gets to the maw they get one more flip to stave off defeat if they do not, they are devoured and must drink the strong beverage (place another drink/refill after)
*To win you must be the last player standing AND sink a coin into the maw. If you are the last player and you have three cups left for example you have four turns to sink a coin, three left for the tentacle and a fourth for the maw, if you do not make it the Kraken devours you and no one wins.
*If you have, say three cups left and you sink the coin in, as long as your the last player in the game the Kraken is satiated by all the tributes and lets you go! You win!.

The outlaw Captain listens the game idea while drinking slowly his Luskan Black ale. "Erhm, that is quite challenging. Lets give it a try mates, if lass offers something freely as Gentlemen of Fortune we have to test it, aye!?" He snaps his fingers and gestures Sarah the Barmaiden to bring rum to their table.
