The What I'm READING Thread!

Unread post by Charraj »

We're a pretty intelligent and discerning bunch, and I'm interested in what you guys like to read!

I'll start.

I've recently been checking out a webcomic called "Unsounded." Decent plot, good art, great writing!

I am finally nearly done with the Dark Tower series by Stephen King=) (I'd start and stop and start and stop and come back to it months later and re read it... not because they are bad... not his best... but it was totally a real life issue preventing the eventual end.)

Then I am going to start re reading Shakespeare for educational reasons. A refresher course for mom before she starts teaching the kids. And Poe, for similar reasons and he is just a great author.
"Play nice." Mum
"Mercy, even to the least deserved."
"Revenge is beneath me, but Accidents happen..."
"Even Echoes fade to silence."

A comparitive history of Private law, concerning Roman civil law, Common Law, German, French and Dutch civil law.

Roman Law is awesome! Companies are put into inheritances so they can have their own property.

The course is by the author so he knows pretty well if you have been skipping chapters <_<

In That "Dark Tower" was too much "balls" It was really annoying how much I had to read about main character's balls. I didn't like it even if it should be a master piece.

Right now reading:

Robin Hobb - Fool's Errand
Infamous Captain Kalma Hellstorm - Gentleman of Fortune
On our pillage through the Sword Coast, We sail heartless under the flag of Piracy!

Krenal Vandree - The Black Wizards
I am them!
