She is a Northerner, and taking her height and the colour of her hair into consideration, only a fool would think otherwise. Her parents are farmers alive and well, with little profit gained every year from their fields. Her siblings, twin brothers, are married and living their own lives in the nearby village, eldest as a smith, and the youngest as a fishmonger. As a young lady of natural beauty and charming features, she had decent marriage prospects as very few of her suitors thought ill of the fact that she had been the rowdiest 'boy'. While she had an easy future ahead of her, the stories of doombringers told by the local priest of Myrkul had made her heart desire something else than the warmth of fire and the smiles of dozen red headed kids. Thus she played along until the night before the wedding night, and stowed away with the dowry in her hands, and a grin on her face. Forgedawns had always been the first ones to wake up and start forging their days....
