Battletide duration bug
Battletide duration is bugged. Randomly it works for the intended duration round/CL, but sometimes it wears off randomly before that (seems to me this happen more often if you are in combat, but it happens also if you use and you dont enter combat). I guess something went wrong when you made it custom. Can you please test and check this out. It is annoying spending lvl 5 or 6 (if extended) slots on a buff and then it wears off after a few seconds.

Re: Battletide duration bug
Wasn't it acting normal pre nerf? Can't it be scripted in a way that doesn't do the checks it so often fails and shuts down.
I mean can it be made like a normal 'give few bonuses' spell. Currently this is the biggest spell bug there is on the server, and has been for some time.

The spell has always been bugged, both the original version and the BGTSCC version - though I'm fairly certain one of the Devs commented that they might've found a fix for it they'll be implementing =)

Re: Battletide duration bug
I have been using battletide just for the haste and noticed the movement buff ending early if I initiate casting while moving. Even if casting when still, I had to wait a number of seconds after cast to consistantly have the movement increased applied for the full duration.

we put up a fix. Molag said he hasn't had any problem so far with it randomly ending early.Considerate_ wrote:The spell has always been bugged, both the original version and the BGTSCC version - though I'm fairly certain one of the Devs commented that they might've found a fix for it they'll be implementing =)
Don't know for sure if it's completely fixed though.

Good work, glad to hear it. Would check it out myself, if not I wasn't neck deep in exams.

I know the fix has gone through but I see Kaedrin also had fixed this issue (assume it is the same issue).
Battletide AoE and self-buff effects split up. This will reduce the impact of the aura "disappearing" in high-lag situations. (Warpriest and spell versions)
