Would there be any interest from the area designers in obtaining official music from the Baldur's Gate game(s)?
I have access via my soundtracks, and would be happy to host them privately for use by the area designers. These are available online at other locations (which I'll refrain from listing). I'm speaking specifically of the music created by Michael Hoenig.
Areas like the Friendly Arms Inn, the Lion's Way, Beregost, Cloakwood, Candlekeep, Baldur's Gate... there are iconic songs that set the tone for the zone.
In total, non compressed and in high quality format, the mp3's total just over 50MB.

He's talking about updating areas to use these unique ambient music files, rather than overriding default files (which Death's package does)
