So, I read somewhere on the forums, I THINK, that the game year was going to leap ahead a bit after the current metaplot is over.
What year is it right now in-game? What will the year be once said metaplot advances? Will we have to make new characters, or will we keep our current ones?
Also, are our actions impacting the world in a way that could potentially deviate from 'official lore'? (Please say yes! I LIKE CHANGE!)
That's all I have to ask. Thankee!
Current Year and New Game Year?

Re: Current Year and New Game Year?
Current year is 1347 DR. We're moving it forward to 1348 DR.
The server's traditionally progressed in time with real-life time progression. This year change will be no more (or less) dramatic than the one you felt in real life on New Year's Eve.
We're actually a little late, but we wanted to conclude the metaplot before doing the year change.
