For NWN2 we can download some textures that greatly improve how the game looks and feels:
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NW ... tail&id=43 = Trees
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NW ... tail&id=28 = Terrain Textures
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NW ... tail&id=32 = Grass
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NW ... tail&id=45 = Tiles / Creatures / Item textures
(Big but totally worth it)
Leslie had a good guide on these but it got removed because they use the override and there is a general rule against that. These files don't affect the server in any way, they don't cause your character to glitch requiring a delevel or even being unsalvagable like other override files can cause. (for example having Kaedrin's PRC in the override while playing on BGTSCC)
The only thing they conceivably influence is screenshots and immersion because of the increase in the prettyness factor of terrain, buildings, items and NPC's.
Could we make an offical exception to the no-override rule and allow Leslie to post her guide again so people can be made aware of these great modifications for NWN2? Severa modl authors put a lot of effort into these and it really shows!

Re: The No-Overrides rule
I think last time we talked about this didn't we just decide to leave the rule up?
But its not like we know if someone is running overrides anyway.
It might be safer.. there are still some wonky exploits you can do with overrides.
