Background: Originally from Everlund in the Silver Marshes, Andra has spent most of her adult life traveling with the Blackwatch company. Her early years started with the death of her parents by orcs when they were traveling the trade route. Her father had been a blacksmith and worked with a dwarf named Ulric who took in the orphaned child and raised her as his own. Never having had children himself he raised her the only way he knew how and that was how he’d been raised which turned her into something of a tom boy. She never picked up the blacksmithing trade but she learned to fight from him and that became one of two loves of her life.

In her late teens she met a war priest and captain from the Blackwatch, a mercenary company traveling through the area on their way north for employment fighting the ever present orc threat. By the time the Blackwatch was moving out of the city she’d said good bye to her old life and signed up with the company and never looked back. Shortly after she married Olsen.

She worked her way up through the ranks of the company quickly, becoming well known not only for her relation to one of the companies captains but for her own skills and snarky sweet personality. As good as her life had turned out to be it didn’t stay happy for long. During a skirmish against the orcs in the foot hills of the mountains Olsen was killed. Despite the best efforts of the companies clerics they couldn’t find his spirit and bring it back to his body after it had been healed. This was a devastating blow to Andra and retreated back into herself for some time. She stayed with the company still, out of loyalty to the men that she’d been fighting with and eventually took Olsen’s place as a captain of the corp.

Among all the men and women in the corp she became closest friends with Cauldwyn D’Saan and Athus Reinor. After her husbands death they took it on themselves to watch after her just as she watched after those under her command. They’ve become her closest friends and the three of them have and will fight to the death for each other.

Recently in her life the leaders of the Blackwatch caught wind of war along the Sword Coast and sent a small group of members down to see about employment for the corp and to recruit.

Goals: Currently her goals are to recruit for the Blackwatch, get a lay of the lands, and help forge alliances with the current factions of the area.
