Background:

Dejaveriah was born in a somewhat remote region of Kara-Tur and led a fairly normal life, despite her rambunctiousness and tendency to defy tradition. Her rather flamboyant personality and abilities drew some amount of attention to her, but never in a turly negative way. She was (and still is) very eager to learn new things and see new places, and trained long in hard in the arts of martial fighting as well as learning to harness and control her natural magical ability. If asked she would have had little to complain about in general.

Everything changed, however, in her fifteenth year, the year of the Grand Betrayal, as she refers to it. The massive, militaristic faction of renowned nobility located a short distance from her own home city attacked without warning or provocation. As this faction had been their trusted allies for decades and even protected them during conflicts they could not have handled on their own, this attack was completely unexpected and totally devastating.

Dejaveriah was the only one who survived the meciless onslaught, and the entire city was razed shortly after she escaped. She wandered Kara-Tur for some time, and after a short time of refuge in a temple of Tymora where she learned the basics of priesthood ,made the spontaneous journey to Baldur's gate only very recently, partialy for her own safety and partialy to satisfy the firey spirit of exploration and adventure within her.

Goals:

To someday find out why the Kara-Turan faction betrayed her city, and exact revenge.
To fully realize her own power as to avoid the need to depend on anyone.
To continuously explore the world, risking what is necessary for adventure and new experiences.
To understand why and how her magical abilities exsit.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:

Dejaveriah is fearless, for better or worse. She will readily throw herself into battles she can't possibly win, and all sorts of other rediculous situations. She would rather die fighting than not fight at all.

Because of her past, war and it's subsequent devastation are a rare soft spot for her, or just devastation in general.

She lacks tact and is blunt and forthright when speaking with anyone, from a random stranger to a Great Wyrm.

She's a shameless flirt and a showoff, flamboyantly displaying both herself and her abilities whenever the opportunity arises.

Quote which fits her best:
" 'Impossible' is just a word that people use to make themselves feel better when they quit."
--Vyse, Skies of Arcadia
