Inspired by Skyrim trailer music and epic battles against the Pit Fiend in UD, I wrote a song about a legendary warrior who lived in ancient times and was powerful enough to battle demons. The exact identity of the hero has been lost in time. Drow scholars still argue whether the hero fights a demon invasion to liberate the drow or leads a slave uprising against the drow in the second verse of this old song. The song is sometimes performed by traveling drow bards to boost morale but sometimes throughout history its performance has also been forbidden in some towns and villages.
Rosin d'errdegahr, whol d'errdegahren elghinn.
Gaer zhah uss nind ph'stre, ukt treemmafol z'hin.
Ktonos d'chath fuer'yonen, ul'Oloth mina plynn.
Errderosin, Errderosin, xuil cha'kohkev kor'inth.
Whol dro'xundus d'rothen, mal'rak elggen mzil.
Nindol zha'l'statha, d'ze'zhuanth l'sargtlin.
Ukt kaas nezdous, zexen'uma ultrin.
Xas, Xas, Xas, Rryarr!
Xas, Xas, Xas, Rryarr!
Direct translation from Drow:
Born of demon, for demon's death.
There's one they fear, his fearsome walk.
Slayer of fiery beasts, to Darkness them takes.
Demonborn, Demonborn, with cursed rage.
For survival of slaves, forever killed many.
This is the story, of the ancient warrior.
His name prevails, always supreme.
I tried to match the rhythm of the Drow lyrics carefully with the rhythm of music in Skyrim Trailer , the part when the chorus sings (1:09 - 1:51).
