Background: Huss served in the personal guard of a Baron back in his homeland of Cormyr. His liege's Keep was sacked by an Orc clan and his Master was driven from his lands. During the battle Lucian was in charge of the rear guard as the Baron's family and his own wife and two sons fled. He and his men fought to the last. Felled by an axe stroke to the head, Lucian awoke several days later beneath the bodies of several orcs.

Several months passed as Lucian followed rumors of his families survival to the City of Baldurs Gate. Unable to locate them he served for a time in the cities famed mercenary company the Flaming Fist. Tiring of the political intrigue and hearing new rumors as to the whereabouts of his family Lucian resigned his position and headed north. Several years pass, finding his family he comes to the conclusion that its better that they believe he died that day. Bereft of the last thing that was tying him to his former life he decides to return to Baldurs Gate and forge a new future.

Goals: To obtain membership in a guild, and help further said guilds goals.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Lucian served with the Flaming Fist at a time when the Flaming Fist and the Iron Throne were at odds. Several battles were fought and much blood was shed. During that time he was duped into admitting a saboteur into the City who ended up poisoning the water supply. For his laxity he was branded upon his left cheek for all to see. Lucian has a strong sense of Duty and he feels that its his job to protect those weaker than himself. He could be found patrolling the Coastway from Baldurs Gate to Beregost for hours on end helping those in need and seeing to it that the roads were clear for travelers.
