Personality Profile
Overall: Scota is of moderate temperament and generally happy. She does have a very scornful streak when she feels she has been wronged. Generally prefers a subtle approach to difficult situations.
General Health: Very healthy and fit.
Deity: Arvoreen initially, but now devoted more to Hoar due to changes in her individual credo.
Initial Alignment: Chaotic Neutral - trending toward Neutral Evil
Profession: Adventurer, (discreetly) Avenger for Hire
Base Class & Proposed Development: Bard primarily, but when offered the opportunity she could see the benefits of "easier routes" for power combined with her voracious appetite for knowledge, she has also become an Infernal Pact Warlock.
Habits/Hobbies: Loves the lore of the lands, widdles sticks, enjoys collecting Elven-made weaponry and clothing, and sings.... a lot. Scota's "other" hobbies include doling out a ton of retribution as she sees fit.
Languages: Speaks with a brogue. Speaks Common, Halfling, decent Elven, and very little Dwarven.
Weapon of Choice: She prefers her sling(s) as they are light, stowable, and not terrible intimidating. She will also use a dagger she calls "Sweet Whisper" and carries an Elven longsword, mostly for show.
Background
Born in Waterdeep to moderatly wealthy merchants, she struck out early for the adventurer's lifestyle. Approaching individual poverty she eventually returned to the mercantile life her parents offered. She prefers the "finer things." Anything above her present station will do and this would hold true even if she were a Duchess herself. Scota is not obsessed with wealth or fame, she just prefers items of the highest quality and as such, this goal requires wealth. The same holds true for her desire to absorb any and all useful knowledge as tomes do not come cheap. She *is* obsessed with the minute attention to detail that Elves afford to their wares.
She is formerly married to a family friend and moderately-wealthy halfling merchant of his own accord (who mysteriously disappeared after a visit to the brothel). Until recently, she had continued the business in his stead as a widower. She felt suffocated by the workload and grew bored with the city life and has now returned to the adventuring lifestyle.
Goals
Scota's goals are numerous, imaginitive, and largely impossible.
1. She would like to own the entire library of Candlekeep.
2. Scota would prefer her own castle with an entire floor dedicated to Elven weaponry and light armors which she could peruse and don at will.
3. Little Miss O'Connor would like to personally backhand and possibly permanently relieve Fearun of those that cheat on their spouses.
4. All Ogres, Giants, Orcs, and Goblins must perish. All of them. (Half Orcs excluded).
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
If you present a good case that is worthy in her eyes of revenge... if it's within her abilities, she will punish or eliminate the individual in whatever way she sees fit. Her version of "just vengeance" varies wildly so she does not often see employment from this. Scota does enjoy a good adventure and will happily join adventuring parties and guilds. Like nearly everyone in Fearun, she does prefer some compensation for these services to further her collection of lore, for her upkeep of armaments, and to increase her collection of fine Elven wares.
