Background:

Zenric grew up on the streets of Baldur's Gate, never knowing his real parents. He stole what he could to survive but was rather unsuccessful as he was always quite tall for his age and most of the time would end up starting a fight with a stall owner, blaming the guards the man was harassing him, then walking off with the food as the stall owner was arrested.

At the age of 13, Zenric was picked up by a local mercenary troup as they were impressed when he beat down one of their own fighters over the last piece of cake in a stall at the market.

Through this troup, Zenric trained with many weapons, favoring two battleaxes as his weapons of choice. For the next 10 years, he travelled as a blade for hire all along the Sword Coast.

Two years ago, however, Zenric signed on to a job that seemed at the start to be a run-of-the-mill caravan escort from Soubar to Daggerford with his two fellow mercenaries Henrik and Grog. However, along the trail the caravan was ambushed by a small group of bandits. Frenic and the other mercenaries began to fight them only for Zenric's allies to turn and slaughter the merchants in the caravan and attack him! Fighting outnumbered, Frenic was eventually overtaken by his former allies and left for dead.

Zenric awoke later, bloody and bruised at the sword points of his former troupe with a forged note in his pocket framing him for setting up the ambush and Henrik and Grog were nowhere to be found. Rather than stay and be killed for a betrayal that was not his, Zenric escaped into the woods away from his employers.

Now, there is a price on Zenric's head, and he is out to clear his name. He headed back home to Baldur's Gate to escape his pursuers (now stationed in Daggerford) and lies patiently waiting for his former allies to show their heads...so he can cut them off.

Goals:

-continue training with his axes to eventually develop the speed and precision of a Tempest
-make as much coin as possible to pay informants to track down his former allies
-possibly learn to trust again as he was betrayed by his two closest allies

-Zenric always will favor coin before people's needs, he has learned to rely only on himself for years
-Henrik and Grog to make an appearance much later perhaps??
-Zenric is always wary of those coming to collect a price placed on his head, and rarely sleeps as a result
