Background: Born in deep imaskar and raised as a mage like most in the City of the Great Seal; she was an aspiring student full of natural talent though a tendency for recklessness in her learning. Many hours she would sit in the wondrously lit city, her nose buried deep in ancient books of unbelievable lands, of wars, of famine, of pantheons and the planes, some ancient indeed brought down to the underdark by the original descendants of imaskar.

At the age of 17 whilst still in the infancy of her apprenticeship she happened upon a scroll in the library, on which was penned a spell that opened her mind to endless possibilities and a world of intrigue, the complete workings of a scrying spell. She knew in her mind that it was a dangerous thought and that most likely she had not the power to control such a spell and so hid it away hoping one day to return when she was more able. Her fascination with her readings proved too much however and the very next day she returned at the end of cycle. Locking herself in a corner of the library and summoning her bat familiar Xafrix to listen for any approach, she set up a mirror and the necessary components then began spellcasting, creating a link to observe the marvellous sprites she had been reading of in the Feywild. For many minutes she sat in wonderment until the mirror slowly clouded and her vision began to be pulled against her will, down a long shadowy path to an old castle, through dark passages and rooms filled with the watching eyes of thousands of bats. Finally stopping in the pinnacle of the castle to a large furry humanoid with gigantic wings, the archfey Neifion, Lord of Bats. Intending to destroy her mind for her unbidden scrying into his realm, his wrath was held long enough to notice Xafrix sitting guard on her shoulder. Recognising one of his subjects from the Prime he briefly scanned through the fearful jumble of her thoughts to discern her intent in scrying and saw the potential of her power and possibilities she could offer him. He stayed his destruction temporarily and proposed a pact, untold power in exchange for being his agent on the Prime, doing his bidding when needed and providing information always. Facing a choice between this and death, she helplessly agreed.

She left deep imaskaar soon after the incident, somewhat propelled by Neifion's desire for information and many of her kin treating her distantly, sensing something amiss though she would not speak of it. She continues to study the art and continues to read many tomes, though the more she delves into the power promised her by Neifion the more she begins like it and see its potential. She arrived in Sshamath in her 20th year eager to delve into the mysteries the school of mages can show her.

Goals: Visit candlekeep, and get accepted into ranks as an UD'er and a warlock

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Any 'messenger' in the form of a bat can be from Neifion, and used virtually to whatever end (who knows what information an archfey on a different plane may wish)

Also unless someone knows differently I like to propose that Darroch Castle the home of Neifion in feywild is comparative geographically to Candlekeep on the prime, and so he has a vested interest in information surrounding candlekeep and its happenings.

Likely to have 7th circle ties
I never make mistakes…I thought I did once; but I was wrong.
