Background: Born in the High forest, Kyan was the only daughter of her parents who were both rangers. She grew up learning how to hunt and survive, working with the land and nature. Although she never had any problems she always felt distant from the others. When she reached adulthood she decided to venture about the world and see what else there was to offer. Not long after leaving the woods she ended up rescuing a cleric of Helm from some bandits. The cleric was grateful and offered to teach Kyan about Helm. She listened to the man, and decided that she would like to act as a defender of helm. After praying with the man Kyan went on her way, feeling a bit stronger about herself and her place in the world.

Goals: To become an accomplished hunter and to be an able protector of those that need help.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Despite having a "normal" childhood, Kyan never knew why she wasn't given a traditional elven name. Her parents only told her that the name was given to her through a dream and that her parents didn't mind the oddness about it.
