Background: Shyntisstra was never actually born in a city. Her parents (mother was a human and father was a drow) met on the surface. Between the two they decided it would be best for the child to be raised in the underdark city of Sshamath then to be on the surface as times were bad enough for any underdark to be seen on the surface. As the pregnancy neared the parents made their way down towards the city of Sshamath complications arose. Before they ever reached the city Shyntisstra was born. From that point on they made haste to get to the city and start a new life for their daughter unaware of the fact that they were being tracked by a sorcerer. As they neared the city they became aware of the sorcerer stalking them. Knowing this the mother decided to stay behind to try and slow down the sorcerer to give time for the father to bring Shyntisstra to the city knowing if the mother being a human female going alone she would not make it far. When the father arrived into the city he immediately made his way to The Darkspires where a friend he has known for years lived working as a blacksmith. As he knew his wife must lay dead by now he paid his friend handsomely and told him to watch over her until she became old enough to tend for herself if he does not return. He immediately left to go back and kill this sorcerer knowing if that if he made it Sshamath with the power the arcane users have he and his daughter would be as good as dead. After 2 days of searching he found the sorcerer fighting a powerful illithid. Seeing this as his chance he waited until the sorcerer finally killed the illithid. Once he did this he poisoned both of his daggers and attacked seeing the sorcerer weak. The father got the sneak on the sorcerer but was not matched for the sorcerers magic. Before the sorcerer bled to death he killed the drow leaving both of their bodies to a pile of ash.

Goals: To become strong and efficient with the katana so one day she can put other arcane users who think of themselves as better in the ground.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Shyntisstra does not know the full story of what happened exactly outside of the city...all she knows is what the irritable dwarf told her about what the mother and father did and dealing with a sorcerer and never returning back for her. He also told her that her father was a skilled rogue...one of the best in fact but still was not a match for the sorcerer. Knowing this she worships the goddess of darkness (Shar) because she knew her father was a follow of Shar even if he was not strong enough to return he still managed his goal because of the goddess of darkness.

Shyntisstra is always looking for work that which will improve her skills with her katana. She goes by her last name Feïreyn. Feïreyn plans to make her own path which will end in blood for those foolish enough to stand in her way. Feïreyn is a quick learner and even though she loaths the arcane users she be friends them for the time being to gain power to help her achieve her goals. One day Feïreyn wishes to see the surface...one day..
