Hostiling

Unread post by SiaSacham »

I have a question, I don't find it... logical or fair if someone that wnat to kill one party member, hostile the one, after what was indeed, treath and similar, but not those that were with the char and that said repitedly they would protect the said char.

While we tried to hostile the attacker, it had the time to kill it's target, and retreat before we could even hostile it. I would like to know if the rule can be change so if someone want to PvP, they should at the very least hostile the whole group.

PVP can be kind of tricky sometimes. I am not in a position to change the PVP rules, myself, and we would have to discuss your request as a team before we allowed it.

But I did want to alert you to the fact that there is a one-click hostile button built in to our custom GUI. If you utilize the red arrow-like button on your top tool bar, you can click on a person and instantly set them hostile.

It is much faster than trying to find them on the Player List and doing it that way.

Of course, it would be good form for them to set everyone they are arguing with to hostile, when it seems like the situation might turn hostile. Likewise, there's nothing stopping you from setting a perceived threat to hostile before actual fighting occurs, if your character would be "on guard" for any reason.

Just because you set someone to hostile does not mean you have to fight them. It lets them know that you are on guard, though, and prepared to fight in defense of your friend if they continue to harass them (or out and out attack them).
