Xara'vryn Whitecoat; formerly of Sigil, the "City of Doors"

***I apoligize if the biography isn't very good compared with some of the others written on this forum. I'm not a very skilled writer so it's hard to compete with some of the other amazingly written biographies/stories***

Xara'vryn or Vryn as he prefers to be called is a skilled Thief who grew up
in Sigil, the city of doors. Being a Genasi, a descendant from a being of the elemental plane of air, Vryn was born into the worship of Akadia Queen of Air. Through his uncanny agility, intelligence and street smarts, Vryn was able to survive on the streets and eventually make a name for himself.
When he turned 14 he was approached by a local thieves guild and after
performing a few tasks and proving himself, he was asked to join.

At the age of 20, Vryn was a prodigy and quickly became one of the guild's
most skilled thieves. His training in stealth, guild and combat quickly
surpassed that of the guilds instructors and he was asked to begin training
some of the junior members. Eventually Vryn began feeling the pull of the
winds, encouraging him to travel to new lands and experience change.
Soon the compulsion become overpowering and Vryn, becoming vary anxious, approached the elder members of the guild hoping they would allow him to leave the guild and travel. When his request was
refused he realized that he would need to find a way to leave the guild,
and possibly even Sigil itself.

The young thief had managed to hide various caches of gems, coins and
magical trinkets throughtout various safe houses and hiding places within
the city. Not knowing that some of the older members had decided to have him followed, Vryn began collecting his caches and preparing to leave the city. Unfortunately, he had no idea how to leave Sigil along with the majority of the cities inhabitants. Realizing that Vryn was a danger to the guild due to his intimate knowledge of their daily operations and the identity/location of their spies and doubt agents, it was decided that the young thief had become a liability. The guild soon realized that Vryn intentded to leave their employment and even Sigil itself.

After a handful of attemped assasinations, Vryn became desperate when he realized there was nowhere to hide within the city. The guild's pockets
were too deep and they had spies and informants on every street corner. Once he collected all the coins and gems he could from various caches and old debts, he began visiting various wizards and agents who were rumored to know the secrets behind some of the portals in Sigil.
After much searching, Vryn was told that a portal lay within a temple of Tymora down in the Clerk's Ward. After a substancial donation and offering to her alter, Vryn was given a golden two sided coin in the Lady of Luck's image which when placed in a nearby archway opened a portal to the prime material plane.

After making his way into Baldur's Gate, Vryn was awestruck with all the
potential possibilities. After much contemplation, he decided his best
course of action would be to make a name for himself within the city and to either find a guild that would benefit from his many abilities or create one of his own.

Vryn felt indebted to Tymora for her guidance and intervention on his
behalf. He believed that she had led him to the secret temple in Clerk's
Ward and that she was the reason why he survived the multiple assassination attempts. Through her divine guidance, he was able to survive and start anew on the prime material plane.
The young thief no longer felt the pull of the wind from the primordial
"Queen of Air", nor her whispered guidance upon the winds for that matter. Vryn embraced his new beliefs and his new life, vowing to diligently venerate and serve his new goddess whenever the opportunity arose.
