Chastisement: Regaining Favor - Aaron Lyonaler

From the personal journal of Aaron Lyonaler….


"I have found that I am rarely moved to express my thoughts in writing. Tonight, however, I find myself pondering over my actions. With favorism of the divine comes an increased sensitivity as well. My actions are watched and consequences, weather good or bad, come swiftly. I have erred in my thoughts and through inaction. As a result, I have felt a great burden lain upon my shoulders, a guilt that I must endeavor to remove. If I am to become free once more of the yoke I bear for my transgression, I must ponder, then seek out a means to redeem myself. To make whole once again that which is lost, to regain my standing within the eyes of the divine that sees fit to chasten me in a manner that aids me in staying on the straight and narrow path, and to redeem myself for my own sake and those who look to me as an example. I will conduct myself in mighty prayer that a way to restore myself might be opened to me that I might follow and regain favor. In the interim, I will busy myself with good deeds that my sincerity might be seen, that I truly wish atonement…"
