Bregan D'aerthe

Unread post by Kenshin »

((Post in Rumours of Sshamath from July 03, 2012:
Rumor has it that following consultations with an envoy from Bregan D'aerthe's leadership in Menzoberranzan, the mercenary guild has recommenced operations in Sshamath. Though the group's local facilities in Varalla's Passage have been damaged during the final stage of the recently concluded war, the guild is said to have substantial funding for both operations as well as reconstruction.

It is further whispered that the faern, Guilhem is to take a prominent role in guiding Bregan D'aerthe's activities in the area.
At this time, the guild is looking to add highly experienced and capable operatives as full members provided that they are not openly associated with groups engaged in political and or religious strife in the city. (The aim is less based on a desire to avoid conflict than to preserve the guild's reputation for neutrality.)

In the interest of not excluding players who are interested in organized role-play with the guild but have not yet reached epic or near epic levels I am going to set aside time every week to have the two guild member characters I play 'evaluate' the available talent pool of rogues, adventurers, and freelance mercenaries in and around Sshamath. In other words, I will be glad to role-play with and aid with wards, advice, and possibly sponsorship any players or group of players who wish to associate with a guild primarily interested in acquiring information, contacts, and wealth (and the power and influence deriving from the above) to enable its members the greatest possible freedom of movement and association.

Bregan D'aerthe will not OPENLY side with any political or religious faction. The guild will initially seek to do contract work for the Conclave of Sshamath as well as individuals and or groups requiring the varied abilities that Bregan D'aerthe can bring to bear ranging from raw power to subterfuge and, when called upon, diplomacy and finesse. Given the power and reputation of those whispered to stand behind it, the guild will only entertain serious proposals for its services.

Please consider the current state of affairs in the UD and exhibit a willingness to engage in role-play if and when you wish to 'hire' Bregan D'aerthe. Our aim as players is to grab every opportunity to create enjoyable and engaging collaborative story arcs and adventures through active role-play.

Thank you for your time.))

((I am willing to make myself available for several hours a week for adventures and role-play related to the above post.

Please PM me if you are interested with the times that you would find most suitable. I would like to eventually set up regular 'windows' during which I would be online to support guild related activities.))
