Meyur is a knowledge hungry young man, constantly searching for new things to learn. He tends to be somewhat absent minded, easily losing himself in reading a book or in his own deep thoughts. To Meyur, the pursuit and spread of knowledge is king, he tends to respect the law, and life, because he believes these things are required in order to maintain the stability that scholars need to function.

Hobbies: Along with collecting knowledge wherever he can find it, Meyur also enjoys collecting old broken magical devices. When he has free time, he fiddles with them in hopes of restoring or duplicating the device. He is especially fond of toys.

Background:
Meyur grew up in Waymoot, a small town in Cormyr, without really knowing his elven mother. His father, a scholar and scribe by trade, made a living gathering knowledge from the famous tavern "The Moon and Stars". Meyur grew up reading the tales his father wrote, and dreamed of one day going out and seeing first hand the wonders of Faerun.

His elvish lineage gave him an aptitude for magic, through study, and the tutelage of the occasional wizard staying in Waymoot, Meyur began to learn rudimentary magic.


Goals:
Meyur's main goal is to find and spread new knowledge in Faerun. All knowledge is valuable to Meyur, whether it is arcane or mundane.

-Meyur's Mother is an unknown quantity in Meyur's life. He has no knowledge of who or what she was beyond that she was an elf.
-Because of Meyur's lack of training, his magical skills are somewhat rough. He tends to dump far too much energy into his spells, sometimes causing unexpected effects.
