Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:

Azmodeth heard a rumor that the Codicil of Ice was last seen boarding a vessel from the roaring shore, but mayhaps lost to sea. the vessel was bound south, but never reached its destination weeks later. Growing up, hearing about the disapearance and/or emergance of the (un)holy artifact in the sword coast, she grew up planning to rescue the artifact if she could. She suspects Umberlee, in a small fit of jealousy mayhappened to stumble upon the knowledge of the book in her waters, and decided to capsize the ship, holding a trump card if ever needed, for continued co-operation between the two dieties of wrath.

Azmodeth was bartered to one of the priests from a half-orc that did business with the church in Fireshear. Her real parents never known. She was only a year and a half then, and was raised to be anouther priest withing the church, but her curiosity and lack of understanding rules and principles kept her causing trouble in ceremonies.

She eventually found a sympahetic magi within the church, who kept her busy by sating her curiosity with all things, by encouraging her over active imagination and showing her the ways of the arcane, which turned out to be the only thing she would sit still long enough to even consider learning. With promises of power, and a never ending journey of discovery, she was hooked, and took to the sciences of the arcane like a fish to water, studied hard in her teen years and eventually was recognised for her devotion to the forst maiden, finally being well received but at her straws end withing the church, she asked to take the responsability of finding the Codicil of light, and returning it.

The clergy, more then happy to be rid of her considering a lost investment as she decided to follow the arcane path, and never fully cared about spreading Aurils faith like the other clergy, wished her well, and revealed small known truths about the book she was after.

Having promised her teacher she would not leave until she mastered the arts of Ice, but fully intending on leaving right away, she took his spell book and secrets to the art of Frostmagery and booked passage on the first ship leaving the region and took off. Never caring for the rules, taking what she wants, when she wants, she set forth and has not returned yet.

extra - her name Azmodeth, was given to her by the clerics, and named after Auril's nickname, in Orcish, "Den Azo Panz" to be appropriate of her heritage and coming to the church. She was to take on one of the high prietss family name when she bacame of age and fully joined the clergy's ranks, but instead she was more of a loose cannon, always becoming bored of the teachings, and wanting to go out and force her will onto others.

She, in secret takes her masters last name, whom of which taught her magic, the arcane, but she never shares his name with anyone.
