Habits/Hobbies: Talisen enjoys watching people, learning all he can about those who surround him. He's more than willing to step in whenever he perceives an injustice, regardless of the alignment or conduct of the person targeted.
Languages: Common, cant, and several others he'd rather not share with the general public.
Weapon of Choice: Dual shortswords.

Background: Talisen's earliest memories are in Waterdeep, spent in orphanages and poorhouses, surrounded by strangers. His family remains a mystery to him, though not for lack of searching. In his youth, he turned to petty theft to stay alive.

Surrounded by injustice and shocked by lack of repercussions, he turned his back on crime and began to follow the Lord of Three Thunders, Hoar. Doing his best to conduct himself in a fitting way, he began to try and set right the slights he encountered, totally impartial to the outcome, and handing out fitting punishment to all, regardless of status. Following the example of other itinerant followers of Hoar, he decided to set out down the Sword Coast to spread his faith.

Goals: Besides distributing appropriate punishments and rewards to the people he encounters, Talisen is also interested in spreading his faith and setting up a loose network of Hoarites around Baldur's Gate. He might consider becoming a priest, and is hoping to set up a shrine to Hoar somewhere in the city.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Besides the goals stated above, Talisen is still interested in learning more about his origins, and has a soft spot for those who remind him of his former self, whether they be orphans or misguided thieves. This, however, does not keep him from using fear to try and keep them in line.
