Gimral Ironfaar - Laughing along the road...

Unread post by HollowedHeart »

Gimral, a youngish looking dwarf in his mid 50s set his eyes on the horizon, gazing out at the many hues of colors which reflected off the water with a curious look in his eyes... Though perhaps not as curious as the many eyes of the sea luggers that watched him from nearby, for he was not the typical dwarf... No blood stains, no horned helmet.. No axe as big as he is wide.. He did however carry himself with plenty of mirth and pride, a well kept beard and long groomed hair pulled into a tight ponytail behind his head.. not to mention the lute over his shoulder and the chain of bells around his right ankle!

However, he didnt quite care what he looked like to other people..weird as it must be, for he was confidant in the fact that it is who he is... His undying passion for music and dancing makes him anything but the ideal dwarven warrior.. Instead, he's one of those rare creatures known as dwarven bards. He leaned over the railing of "Seafury's" deck before singing a cheerful tune into the waves.

Seafarin' on da Seafury,
Seafarin' upon da Sea
Seafarin' dat I be
Seafarin' full o' Glee
Seafarin' fer many a day
but it wunt be long me friend..
till we LAND AHOY!

The Dwarf chuckled at his song before taking a deep breath, inhaling the salty sea air quite eagerly and full of life before hurrying back to his cabin below deck with a great big grin on his face, greeting everyone quite cheerfully as he passed them by.

Once in his room, he reached under his pillow to pull out a rough envelope sealed with red wax bearing the family crest with a wide grin. "I be seein' yah soon Uncle Foinus!"
