Pale Masters visible identifiable?

Unread post by Considerate_ »

In the Subject: Suggestions for Necromancer Build, we got to talking around whether or not the Pale Master class is easily identifiable.

So I have two questions, with an explanatory note to each further below
  • Do Pale Masters have to RP having an undead graft for an arm?
  • Do Pale Masters have to RP having tough and cadaverous skin?
The first meaning that if you ever manage to see both arms undressed at once, you'll know if they're a PM or not.

The second meaning that if you touch or even just look at their skin, you'd be able to know if they're a PM or not.

I've taken the liberty to find the quotes in question for the two abilities as per NWN2 and DnD descriptions:
Bone Skin

At 1st level, the pale master's tough, cadaverous flesh gives them a +2 natural armor bonus to AC. This bonus increases to +4 at 4th level and +6 at 8th level
Source: NWN2 Wikia
Undead Armor Affi nity (Ex):

A pale master has an instinctive feel for undead armor. At 4th level and higher, he treats the undead armor as if its arcane spell failure chance were 10% less. At 8th level, this reduction improves to 20%.

Undead GraftEdit

At 6th level, the pale master performs a horrific operation that replaces one of their arms with a supernaturally-animated, undead appendage[---SNIP---]

Undead Graft (Su):

At 6th level, a pale master gives in to terrible necrophiliac urges. He cuts off his arm and replaces it with an undead prosthetic, which may be skeletal in form or preserved fl esh stitched in place like that of a flesh golem.
