The Upbringing.

The age was new when Yusya and his wife Juinaha herald their child into the world. Ages has passed since the great, and tragic, fall of the once glorious Ilmaskari Empire. Since then, the lives of their people had changed greatly, to the point that as Nerruin grew: he knew not meat, sunlight, or what it mean to see "hope" when he looked up.

The God that once held no meaning to them now held a softer spoken whisper on the lips of those around him, and some of them even remembered the older days. Nerruin was but six when they began his training - magic after all was in their very blood and his parents where already over one hundred years old. Perhaps like some of his kin, Nerruin grew up reserved. He rarely offered his opinion, unless it was something that intrigued him, which annoyed his teachers greatly.

In this realm where arcane is everything, there were only few certainties. When a child is born, it is only natural for them to follow in the School of their family, if a mage. For anyone else, there were small pools of divine teachings within the Great Sealed City. In truth, the city was amazing, for there survival plants were made that could produce water and act as food. Like before, his people enjoyed very fine clothing and considered honor to be a necessary art to learn.

The growth of Nerruin was alike to others in the city, the one unique quality he held was a yurning for me. Most in the city were fine the city, but yet wanted to broaden their knowledge. It was for this the seals were weaken and any Imaskari who left was allowed to if their memory of how to get to the city was erased.

The Ziavuil, for what it was worth in memory, held the practices of necromancy but honed it for the use of its blood arts. ((Vampiric touch, diseases and so on.)) It was in this rigorous training that grew up, and why he wanted to leave. He trained, and stayed, within the city for fourty years before finally leaving to embark on where he truly evolved.

The Journey

"The darkness is all around, the darkness is all around but it is good." This was all Nerruin could think of, to keep the throbbing pain at bay within his mind. Despite all that, he was relatively warded with layers of unseen magic to help keep himself, he did not know what to expect.

The years within the City of the Seal taught him few things, people where already leaving when he was growing up and some of them had been summoned back. It was from these people forms of trades where made, information was gathered and where Nerruin learned "undercommon."

Because of this, when he reached the first drow city he'd ever been to - he learned the harsh reality of what it was like outside of the city. He had only skirted around settlements, but it was enough to get him into a fight with a drow by name that no longer matters. The fight was long, but it wasn't overly hard but when he finished it the unexpected happen. From the shadows stepped forth another of the dark race that was exceptionally more powerful than him. In the fight he witness Nerruin use necromacy of blood and because of it spared him and offered to teach him.

Vlosisto walked within a crimson, and dark mantle, and by all means he was quite mad. For years, he trained Nerruin further in Blood Magic, but without telling him also learned of some of the methods Nerruin learned as well: another ten years of Nerruin's live was used like this.
