how does range percision work, do you click the ability then fire your bow? and it adds 1d8 to the damage?

Once you have a creature targeted you click the feat and it fires the bow. It adds the extra damage at that time. You only get it on the first shot until the cooldown is done and you click it again.

Ranged precision opens a separate action bar. The only one that attacks at first level is extended range. While this is cool it dosent seem to add any extra damage. And is not suppose to be gained till later.

It does add the extra damage, but only on the first arrow.
