Lords & Levies

Unread post by DM_Xzar »

An obscure cardgame from the Dalelands has made its way to the Sword Coast. Favorite amongst traders and merchants. "Lords & Levies of the Dales" cards have been surfacing up and down the Coast- and Trade Way, as caravan guards try their luck at this game along the taverns and trade routes. The game has been gaining in popularity rapidly. Full decks are a rare sight. But every now-and-then single cards do pop up here and there. The rules of "Lords", a slang term for "Lords & Levies", are often found scribbled on the back of many a card.

If you want to print and play these cards, feel free to do so!

There's also talk of a rare set of cards that do not come with the common deck. These cards have rules of their own and can turn the fortunes of a game around rapidly.

This looks really interesting for a nice, dark, smokey, derelict, gambling den full of ruffians!

Good guys are such cliche clones, inevitably.

The game is not a good one... ...and the cards take up inventory space. I was collecting them until I realized how un-thought out this was.
