A great many posters are surfacing all along the Sword Coast; advertising the funeral parlor of Ned, gravedigger and undertaker at the Baldur's Gate graveyard.

// Looking to immortalise the name and memory of one of your characters, or the character of a friend? Any grave plot and headstone purchased from Ned will be added to a persistant "graveyard" list - and perhaps to an actual ingame graveyard in the future.

Fat Ned's Funeral Parlor
Looking to retire yourself to an early grave? Or would you like to be off feeling safe rather than sorry? Get yourself a head(stone) start in death? Then purchase a burial plot from Ned the Undertaker at the Baldur's Gate Graveyard. All graves are freshly dug and adorned with the headstone of your choice.

Purchasing a grave plot and headstone with us will ensure that your name will be immortalised for all eternity! Grave plots cost a mere 500gp each. You may also purchase a plot and headstone for a loved one.

Budget Slabs
Budget slabs are also available if you and your kin lack the funds for a proper headstone. Cut from mundane stone, the budget slab offers enough space for a name and date. But little else. A budget slab with engraving will cost a mere 1000gp.

Headstones
Ned provides you with a selection of headstone shapes and materials. Would you prefer a slanted stone? Or an oval, squared or pedestal shaped headstone? How about that warm or classic grey granite? Or do you have enough coin to purchase a gold-inlayed marble stone? Grey and warm granite both cost a mere 1500gp. The gilded marble will cost you 3000gp

Engraving & symbols
We provide engraved text in two different styles. Does the curly or corpse stiff style catch your fancy? The curly engraving will cost 1000gp due to the craftmanship involved. A stiff style is a mere 500gp. Special symbols can also be engraved into you or your loved one's headstone at a mere extra 500gp.

Services
The Fat Ned Funeral Parlor also provides services for the friends and families of the departed. Music, food and drink. Even priests and undertakers can be hired through us to provide services at the specified date of interment. Please inform with Ned the Undertaker for specific details.
