A Petition left at The Elfsong Tavern

Unread post by Hitman Hard »

I'm undertaking an effort to found a Temple in honor of my Lord Hoar within the Gate, am donating a considerable bundle of my own wealth to this endeavor. But alas, still short of my goal by forty thousand. Anyone wishing to contribute to this majestic gesture towards the just due of Hoar's luster, please contact me, here at the inn. For I will be staying here for the next fortnight, accepting any donations from fellow Hoarites or those attracted to the persuasions of acting upon hard, righteous things.

Sincerely,

Valiant Blinncraft

Valiant Blinncraft bellowed forth eagerly, wiping the melted cheese from his mouth and setting the heavily salted sandwhich back on his plate, full of fist-sized twists of dried herring.

"Alas, I and another Hoarite by the name of Talisen have reached the desired amount! The temple is in Hoar's grasp!" The rogue knight appraises the tap room before taking an indulgent bite off a healthy sized twist of dried herring.

"Now. . I seek -priests-, not adventuring clerics, but humble individuals to distribute healing services and rid the sick of disease. Our temple shall be the greatest ever constructed, it's spires shall extend to the heavens and our healing shall be free to those in desperate need of it! The bulk of our gold, what shall keep our heads above water. . . comes from scroll and wand selling! Let's put Thay out of business whilst we're at it and make our temple the embodiment of heroism and propriety. So if your a cleric and want to get involved, please come forward. Damn this food is too salty, how about another zzar bartender?"

Valiant glanced at a dim, winding staircase warily as he waited.
