Captivity

When he finally woke, Thedran was very careful to remain still. He was hanging by his wrists, the shackles just tight enough to push against his bones and ensure he couldn't escape. Keeping his eyes closed, he allowed his mind to fully awaken. . .firstly he took note of his injuries.. . .broken ribs, and a dull pulse in the back of his head the two that caught his interest.

Pushing the pain to the side of his mind, he started to force his senses to focus. His training was coming forward, his responses automated given his situation. He listened for several long moments, he heard foot steps. The tread, and the -smell- of the long dead was overpowering, but it also confirmed his fears.

Captured

Taking a very slow breath, to gather his strength, Thedran began to slowly open his eyes. His reward was a flash of blinding pain, followed by a uncontrollable urge to vomit. Once his fit passed, a oppressive desire to sleep started to push into his mind. Unable to even stand on his own legs, Thedran attempted to fight the loosing battle against his own mortal failings. . .His last few moments in world of reality, Thedran quietly whispered a poem, his souls desperate prayer. The sleep that claimed him was welcomed. . .he may be captured, but he was not broken. . . . . . .
