Frontline Archer Feat

Unread post by BloodRiot »

Greetings. Quick and to the point.

Frontline Archer Feat... is it worth it?
Character in question will have HiPS (late as hell but he will), is an OOBI, and Lightning reflexes(pre requisite) and Frontline archer are taking the place of some pretty standard feats, some of which may be universally considered way better to haves over a situational use ability.

Feats that I may pick over Lightning Reflexes and Frontline Archer:
Imp Rapid Shot
Power Crit longbow
Blindfighting
Epic Prowess/or another Great Dex/Whatever
(unfortunatly the Frontline archer feat itself can only be taken during epics as my previous slots were conditioned by greater must haves and PRC requirements)

I like the idea of having an interrupter move and all, but I have this feeling I may be gimping myself too much.

Cheers

PS: I forgot to add that, regarding the loss of a Great Dex or Epic prowess for the extra AB, that is mitigated by Epic Weapon Focus which this character pretty much has. and the 1 oint difference in Dexterity is the difference of getting a +2 or +3 Dex item. The character does have access to Cat's grace from assassin levels though.
Characters:
Valzt (Active)
Vesz'yraen (Inactive, presumably departed the Sword Coast)

If you have HiPS and OOBI... You do not want to be in the frontline. You want to be as far back and away from melee as you can.
