"NEXT!" Screeches the imp, "Name and registration."
"Names Cordin. Cordin Firesnap." says a weary, grumpy looking dwarf in black and red robes as he sets his clan seal on the desk.
"C-C-Cordin F-F-F-Firesnap? I, uhh . . . " squeaked Rapshus.
"Hurry on with it ye worm, else I just skip the lines, over your dead body Preferably." says Cordin, giving the imp an ominous and irritated look.
"R-Right! Yes Sir, right away sir. Go on back, I'll handle your paper work myself."
The dwarf, a tanned and weather looking sort, gracefully steps past the imp to a back room where waited a familiar looking devil, one that works for the one named Mephistopheles.
"Ah, Cordin Firesnap, it is good to see you again. You seem well?" said Kairnoth.
"Ah, can it. Ye know I don't like you types, so lets just get this over with. Did ye get the revised contract?"
Kairnoth, a strange sort of devil wearing a fine and expensive suit, reaches into a convenient drawer in his desk, seemingly searching for something he is having trouble to find.
"Afraid this may be a bit difficult . . . Are you sure you don't want to just go ahead and sign your soul away like all of the others?"

"I assure you, it will make things both easier and faster for you. I already have a spare contract prepared," Kairnoth says and he deftly fishes a neat set of papers and a pen from an opposite draw. One might think it a well practised habit.
"Nay, but this might make things easier Kairnoth," says Cordin as he drops a far thicker packet of papers on the desk. "I made a copy and brought it with me incase ye try that stalling trick again. And dun ye even try to make me think ye havn't read it yet."
"Cordin, Cordin, my friend. Why such hostility? Well, let me just make a quick review of my copy and notes, alright?" says Kairnoth as he pulls both an identical copy of Cordin's revised contract and a small notebook made of skin and bones. "How are things at home? Still on walk about or are you about ready to settle down with a forge or a woman?"
"Nay, I still be on walk about. Its taken me longer than most o' me kin I suppose, but I've been having to do alot more work to find what I be needin. Taken me from coast to coast of this continent. From Yulash to Baldur's Gate."
"So I hear. You've been quite busy recently I hear. Demons been giving you trouble? Senseless animals really. Its quite valiant of you stand up against them."
"Bah. Don't care, I jus hate the things. To be honest, I don't see much difference between devils n demons."

"Well, I can't see why this isn't a bad contract. We get what we want, you get what you want. I can't seem to find any fault in it really. You must have taken quite some time to think this through. So, to be clear, we give you the power of Hellfire, and in return we either get, upon your death, your soul, as per the standard faire, or your single createst creation, which ever is more valuable to us." chimes Karinoth.
"Aye. Dun ye forget the part that if I my death be caused by anythin' demon or devil in nature, the contract becomes void and I get to go to be with me ancestors." quickley adds Cordin.
"Very well, if you would just sign here . . . and here . . . good." . . .
