Spirit Shamans can't use gauntlets?

Hello! I've recently discovered that my Spirit Shaman can't use any kind of gauntlet. Reading some old thread I had the impression that this had been fixed, but the bug - if it is a bug and not a feature with a justification that I'm missing - still seems to be in place.

Help?

By the way.. They can't use fishing poles either. It's been mentioned already, not sure what proficiency it is they lack to be able to fish

We figured out the issue with the fishing pole.
From what I recall it's because the person didn't have simple weapon proficiency.

Is that the case with you and gloves?

It's some kind of game engine bug though I think.

I'm not sure, to be honest. Spirit Shamans start with this weapon proficiency and light armor proficiency.

Everyone is proficient with gloves, so it can't be the same issue as fishing rods.

Its a pretty well known issue with the spirit shaman proficiency not being able to use gauntlets (I thought?). One of bugsidian's gifts to us. There is an easy solution, just give them simple weapon proficiency instead for free.

spirit shaman are already a pretty difficult to play class, giving them a bit of love might go a long way into making them more playable. There is a reason nobody really plays them.

Oops, necroed wrong thread. Anyways, spirit shaman still cant take Harper Agent levels.
