Deep Imaskari Appearance

Source: http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Deep_Imaskari
Physical DescriptionEdit

Deep Imaskari are humans with pale, smooth skin that is soft despite it's stone-like appearance. (This unusual characteristic is a remnant of the magical alteration that all the Imaskari underwent to survive in Deep Imaskar.) Deep Imaskari are tall and thin, with typical males standing close to 6 feet in height and weighing around 160 pounds. Females are usually about half a foot shorter and 40 pounds lighter.

Deep Imaskari prefer to be well dressed, with elaborate greatcoats covering simple, but elegant clothing in dark shades. They delight in dark rings as well, particularly magical ones.
(Emphasis mine)

That said, humans are one of the most diverse races, appearance, genetically, and all. How easily would a DI be able to pass as a human (albeit with dry skin) from some faraway land rather than as an Underdark'er?

Edit PS: Before it happens, let's not go off-topic to that conversation about surface drow... you know, that one.

As I understand, you should be able to pass by in human population if you wear a hood, but under sunlight without anything to cover your face it'd be unlikely that anyone would mistake an Imaskari for any of the ordinary human ethnicity groups. The reason is that all humans that live under the sun have some level of tan and warm hue in their skin, while Imaskari appears with fully "desaturated grey" skin,. The interesting subquestion is how should humans or other surface races react to the presence of the Imaskari? Since knowledge of their kind is very rare, you might be mistaken for a vampire or other undead (especially in the night time).

This is also a perfect topic for me to ask another related question that has been bothering me: If you use the United Colors override to fine tune the colors of your character a bit (within limits of the race's lore ofc), you're unable to target imaskari and other custom races because there is no 2da file for the custom races. Does anyne know what is the official system name for Imaskari race? I know that color_imaskari.2da doesn't work.

Sorry for the extra question Wulfenote, but the answer may benefit you as well! :)

Overrides are banned. Even palette overrides.
