Just a lore-related question for me.
Is a sacred fist monk/cleric combination making any sense for followers of Auril?
The thing I find possible to make issues is usage of sacred flames which are fire-like ability. Unless it's possible to IC-ly act like the power behind sacred fist are frost-related?

Re: Sacred Fist of Auril
If you're a Sacred Fist of Auril, then your powers are bestowed by her. That means that the flames are her doing. She's also an evil deity, and evil deities are not above using the weapons of their enemies against themselves. As such, fire, which can be seen as an enemy of Auril, is carried by you into battle against her enemies.

Re: Sacred Fist of Auril
Sometimes you have to be creative within the limited technical system.
Irini, for instance, High Priestess of Auril, has access to spells like flame strike and fire storm in her spellbook. While I tend not to use them as a principle, sometimes they're just too good to miss out on. I tend to call it 'Frostburn' and use the same reasoning as mireigi wrote, that since they're granted from Auril, they're alright.
Self-limitations like not using flame-like abilities as an Aurilite are great, but sometimes you don't want to gimp your character too much.
As long as it's possible within the game techs (and not abusing a bug), then it's legit and legal per default. It's only your own conscience that sets the limits =p
Welcome as an Aurilite btw! Nice twist doing a monk build. Be sure to meet up with Irini in game sometime, the server's resident Aurilian priestess =D
