ultimate healer cleric question

Getting a epic healing spell worth getting? My cleric have mass heal and I am looking to improve that. Any recommendations?

Currently, no.

The problem with epic mass heal is that the range of effect is small. You've to stand right next to the caster if you want to be healed so it's not very practical. I've brought this up to the QC previously and it has been agreed to widen the range, but so far I don't think anything has been done about it yet.

A regular Mass Heal covers a whole map, right...? How come the Epic version is somehow inferior in that regard...

I had epic mass heal on Layana and I'm 90% sure the heal covered the whole map, but that was a long time ago. It is only the damaging aspect to undead that should be limited to the radius.

Yes, a fix has been submitted, but not implemented. The range is low on Epic Mass Heal, while Mass Heal (lvl9 cleric spell) not only covers the whole map, but the whole party no matter which area they are in. All mass spells do this btw.

Epic Mass Heal also only have one use per rest.

Mine only heals 100 hp - the range is better but, it says it heals 300 x.x so I am a little confused..


Thats not necessarily true because if a cleric takes healing domain the cleric can slot more heal spells and all cure spells are cast as empowered healing spells.

With spontaneous conversion an all a cleric is more likely a stronger healer.

I've the closest thing to mystic theurge on the server; was only option..

Its still buggy but, for an aoe heal its still really useful - if it healed for 300 like it says would be perfect - or if the text matched..

At least yesterday, when using it on a very tight spot, epic mass heal healed closer to 200 hp. So definitely more than 100.

I found it kept healing for 100 which is my cleric cl level - I haven't tried since fix but, believe it

When an enemy undead failed a will save it dealt 200 damage, with no save it dealth 100 damage.


Another instance it healed for 169 health of one target and yet another instance, did not heal the target next to me at all.

Usually it still just heals for 100 so I think it may be still broken or maybe the fix isn't working retroactively which is odd to me x.x or maybe this is how its supposed to operate and just >.:O I dunno x.x but, that is what is happening

still better than no heal though an been game changing


Very strange feat x.x is maybe impacted by my ten levels of cleric?
