I've made it to Beregost! I followed my heart and alas Lathander has guided me here. I was received well by Lady Cecilia at the temple here. She was quite eager to orient me to the the city and its people. Oh, it is so very lovely here. The people are quite nice too! I am now among the awakened at the temple here and am beginning my trials. If the commander accepts it, I'll be planning an event. I'll be sure to tell you about it in great deal in my next letter!
I've met very interesting people since I've arrived here. Some are wonderful and others are quite unnerving. Lady Cecilia has been like a sister to me and Ylu has become one of my dearest friends. They've both done wonders in making me feel at home. I met a druid who can shape shift into a dragon. He let me ride on his back high in the sky. I'd never felt as close to Lathander as I did at that blissful--- yet horrifying--- moment! Oh, you would have absolutely loved it! While my lady friends have showed me the city and its people, he showed me the wilds and its beauty. I hope he comes around more often. It is bliss!
Of course, I did not make this journey for my own gain. I have continued to walk in Lathander's light. I travel the lands healing the sick and wounded. I have raised the fallen and prayed for those leaving this world. By Lathander's grace, I aided Lady Cecilia in consecrating a burial site in which the dead had been rising. Now that I am here, I can see why Lathander has guided me here. There is so much work to be done and I hope that I can handle the challenge.
I miss you and the rest of the temple dearly. I hope to hear from you about how things are there. I promise to keep writing. Lathander's light continue to guide you!
In the dawn, beauty reigns, and the way is clearer.
